Online sessions are available to book at a time when I have good internet access, with a computer and camera set up to go. There is the convenience (for me) of being able to finish one session and start the next straight away - hence why they cost less.

In-person sessions require me driving from one client's house to the next, or to Active Life Leisure Club.

If I happen to be with a client in Easingwold and the next client booked themself in for 15 minutes later in Richmond - it's just not going to happen. If the next client was in Thirsk then they could possibly get that session 15 minutes later but how would they know?

For in-person appointments it requires conversation between us to arrange a mutually convenient time.

I won't do PT with anyone without first doing a consultation. The consultation typically lasts about one hour (and can go to to about 90 minutes if you have a complex medical history). I don't charge for that time. If 10 people booked one hour sessions I would actually be working 20-25 hours ...but only getting paid for 10.

If we decide to work together then I need commitment from you.

Block-booking shows that commitment.

I am Scottish, if I pay out money then I am not going to let it go to waste - hopefully you feel the same and will turn up for each session as planned.

How rude! 😏

It will still be me, giving you my best.

On the personal training side, as well as typical PT qualifications and lots of extra CPD, I am also qualified as a certified Online Trainer.

On the yoga, side, not only have I had plenty of YTT experience and I spent more than four years as an assessor for one of the largest online Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) companies.

Also, I'm ex-Army - if you are doing soemthing 'wrong' I will hone straight in on that.

If it's an in-person session at Active Life Leisure Club,Scotch Corner, we use the gym or the studio. If I come to your home, then you don't need any specific exercise equipment, I can provide this each session.

If it's an online session then we will discuss this during your consultation-but I am not planning to get you to spend lots of money on equipment. Simple weights, a resistance band and your bodyweight are a great starting point.

If you want to buy a superb home-gym then feel free, but that's not a requirement.

Yes.

Membership will let you access relevant classes as long as you subscribe.

At the end of any class if you particualrly liked that one and want to be able to do it indefinitely (even if you no longer are on a membership) then feel free to purchase it.

If you purchase a class it is available to use online whenever you want to view it, no membership is required. It's yours..The advantage of the membership is you can try a class first. Without a membership you are purchasing it unseen.
