I joined the British Army at 16. By 2008 I had two spinal injuries and was told I'd be crippled if I ever exercised again.

I made an educated decision to ignore that advice. Eight years later I changed career and became a Personal Trainer to help others.

At 49 — having never attended a yoga class — I also became a yoga teacher. I wasn't flexible, gifted, or a former full-time athlete. I have lived experience. That's exactly why I understand your body better than most coaches ever will."
